There is a volunteer board of trustees that meets monthly to review and support the work and achievements of the team. The trustees bring a wide range of experience and expertise to the LYP. The common factor amongst all of the trustees is their passion for supporting young people. We would welcome any interest you may have in supporting or joining the board. In the early years, the LYP initiative was supported by the local police, the local church and Sainsbury’s, right through to the present day, where we still work closely with these organisations. The housing services and the City Council’s Youth Services were also supporters of the Project’s development, the latter providing the staff resources to line manage the initial programme delivery. Following a competitive process, LYP’s service delivery has been provided by Youth Options for the last few years. This arrangement has been a very fruitful one.
